The roving trader outfit and roving trader hat are pieces of clothing in Fallout 3.

Characteristics[]

The outfit is a heavy brown cargo jacket with many pockets. The left arm is strapped with watches and goggles hang around the neck. Pale denim jeans protect the legs. The outfit provides a Damage Resistance of 2 and the hat provides one of 1. Both the outfit and the hat increase Barter by 5; wearing both increase it by 10. The suit can be repaired with other copies of itself as well as various wasteland outfits. The hat can only be repaired using copies of itself.

  • Can be reverse pick-pocketed from Lucky Harith and Crow.
  • Can be found on Evan King in Arefu
  • Found during a random encounter where a wastelander talks about a "Green Mountain" referring to Oasis.
  • Found in the Deathclaw Sanctuary on a dead trader.
  • Can be found on Tobar. (Point Lookout)
  • One can be obtained from Wint's body upon his death (Broken Steel).
  • Can be bought from merchants.
