The leader of the Compound, Roslyn Chambers' life was defined by the Broken Mask incident in Diamond City. Her parents, along with six other people, have been killed by a malfunctioning third generation synth. Traumatized, she fixated on synths and became determined to fight back against the Institute by devising a way to identify the synths infiltrating the people of the Commonwealth. As no medical test can reliably identify synth biology or chemistry, she turned to psychology and the notoriously flawed GOAT test. By a combination of abduction, torture, and applying this pre-War travesty of psychological research, she hopes to devise a way to root out synths and destroy them once and for all. Amelia Stockton is the latest of her victims.
