The head is a part of humanoid robot that approached Junction City after being damaged and was subsequently destroyed by the townsfolk. The player's objective during the mission is to collect all the robot parts.

It is traded to the Warrior by John Levis, the Mayor, in exchange for the extermination of the Reaver threat.
