The raided farmstead is a location in Fallout: New Vegas, located southeast of Wolfhorn Ranch.
Layout[]
This small homestead was located west of Camp Searchlight and was reasonably fortified with cars and junk creating a makeshift fort around the trailer that acted as the home for the family that grew maize in the hardy wasteland soil. The family and the farmstead was wiped out in an attack by the Vipers, who murdered everyone (including at least one child) and left their bodies to the elements, while stacking the trailer with a number of supplies to act as bait.
If the player enters the trailer to loot it, the Vipers will attack the location immediately, coming in from the west over the hills and converging on the farmstead. The trailer provides cover but has limited field of fire and leaves the player exposed to any Vipers with grenade rifles.
Notable loot[]
- Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap: In the broken fridge.
