Rad-X is a chem in Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics.

Background[]

Main article: Rad-X

A potent anti-radiation medicine that bolsters the user's natural radiation resistance. Taking it prior to exposure is recommended, as it can greatly reduce irradiation, particularly when combined with advanced radiation suits.[1][2]

Characteristics[]

Rad-X increases resistance to radiation by 50% per dose, maxing out at 100%. Further doses have no effect. Apart from travelling to the Glow, Rad-X has no additional use and can be safely sold.
