The Quincy Quarries is a location within the Commonwealth, in Fallout 4, and is located directly next to the Quincy ruins. If Vault-Tec Workshop is installed, the marker for the quarries is replaced with Vault 88's marker.
Background[]
This large marble quarry has been collecting radioactive runoff for quite a while since the Great War, which now equates out to consistent fallout (10 rads per second) permeating the entire area area. The quarry has attracted a moderate group of ghoul raiders led by Slough, all of whom are now deadlocked with the neighboring Gunners detachment.[1]
However, there is a more to the quarry than meets the eye. After excavation, the quarry became the site of a Vault-Tec project: Vault 88. The raiders inhabiting the quarry recently dug through the limestone concealing the entrance and are attempting to break into the vault.[2]
Layout[]
The quarry is moderately sized, with a trailer overlooking the area as a watchtower. A shack with a cooking station is built upon the shallow water, with another shack seen built on the quarry walls, further to the west, with the excavated marble below being used for shelter. Radioactive barrels litter the rest of the quarry, and are a permanent source of increased radiation should they be neared, also healing the ghoul raiders should they be hurt and nearby.
Appearances[]
The Quincy quarries appears only in Fallout 4.

A large marble quarry northwest of Quincy is now flooded with water. Please refrain from drinking; the water is radioactive from the toxic dump of rusting barrels dumped here. A small contingent of Raiders spend their time huffing narcotics and growing paranoid. Use lockpicking prowess to open the trailer on the upper quarry (Expert). Farther along the marble-side pathway is a safe (Advanced). Check the cut marble lower level for a bedroom with a wooden crate (Novice) to pry open."
