Background[]
The scientists were presumably a part of Doctor Madison Li's Rivet City science team who have relocated to the Jefferson Memorial, in the two weeks since the Battle of Project Purity. They are extremely busy since Doctor Li left[1] for the Commonwealth.[2] The sheer amount of work she did truly surprised them.[1]
They work directly under Scribes of Lyons' Brotherhood of Steel, whom they believe are just getting in the way. They also lament that their boss – Scribe Bigsley – is making their work more complicated than it needs to be.[3]
