Poseidon Oil Reactor № 5 (also known as Atomic Powerplant № 5 and Gecko City Power Plant) is a large Poseidon Oil facility[1][2] that once supplied power to Gecko City.

Entry area

The Chosen One enters the plant and is greeted by a guard at the reception area. Jeremy is in the supply room to the left. The door down the hall to the right is a checkpoint requiring a Yellow Pass Key to pass.

Yellow area

This section requires the Yellow Pass Key to gain access, and contains the plant's control center and living areas, including those of Festus, the reactor foreman.

Reactor core

A Red Reactor Keycard is needed to enter. Hank watches over the control room of the reactor from this point, which also contains a computer with the controls for the maintenance robot, and a link to PoseidoNet. The Chosen One can access PoseidoNet and initiate a conversation with the Enclave Communications Officer at Control Station Enclave.[3] The reactor can be repaired or overloaded by hand or by using the robot. Radiation levels inside the core are very high, so radiation resistant armor, high natural resistance, and plenty of Rad-X and RadAway are recommended.

Poseidon Oil Reactor № 5 appears only in Fallout 2.
