The Glock 86 plasma pistol extended capacity is an Energy Weapon in Fallout 2.

Background[]

The following section is transcluded from Plasma pistol. To modify, please edit the source page.

The Austrian made Glock 86 plasma pistol (also referred to as the Plasma Defender[1]), was designed before the Great War by the Gaston Glock artificial intelligence. It shoots a small bolt of superheated plasma. Powered by a small energy cell.[2]

Characteristics[]

The realigned magnetic housing chamber reduces the drain on the internal energy cell, doubling the efficiency.[3]

In gameplay terms, this manifests as a doubled capacity (32 instead of 16 shots) and the weapon still consumes 1 small energy cell per shot.
