Partystarter is a unique weapon in Fallout 4.

Background[]

The following section is transcluded from Missile launcher. To modify, please edit the source page.

A refined, highly adaptable multipurpose missile weapon introduced into the American arsenal, the modular launcher is smaller, lighter, and more maneuverable than the earlier model. It consists of the two-part launch tube, firing mechanism, mounting brackets, open battle sights and a mount for an aftermarket guidance system. It is a breech-loading weapon, reloaded by lifting the front section of the launch tube and sliding the 72mm fin-stabilized missile inside. The rear part of the tube is designed to safely disperse launch gasses, allowing it to be launched from confined spaces. Of note is the fact that the launcher can accept a quad-barrel mount, quadrupling its capacity and firepower.[1]

Characteristics[]

One of the most powerful weapons in the game, the missile launcher is a good way to kick off an engagement, but requires careful use due to its insanely long reload times. On survival difficulty, its ammunition also weight a third as much as the actual launcher, so it has minimal use despite its high damage output. Still, it can also be modified to hold three or four missiles at a time, which drastically reduces reload times, and a targeting computer can be attached, allowing one to aim, lock onto a target and ensure the missile strikes them.

The Partystarter is notable for its unique bonus, Assassin's, which makes it 50% more effective against human targets (be they raiders, Brotherhood, or Railroad).
