Panthers are creatures found in the Nursery Repository in 2253.
Characteristics[]
These big black cats probably have a higher Sneak skill than you do. Why they're included in the stocks of animals that Vault 29 had available is anyone's guess.
Van Buren[]
This animal is large, fast, silent, and obviously a carnivore. It hits good and does a fair amount of damage. It can sometimes surprise its prey, but usually depends on its great speed to reach enemies before they have a chance to react. It is questionable as to whether or not it would be accepted in a town. Perhaps if leashed with a chain.
Appearances[]
Panthers were to appear in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. A panther is also featured in the Penny Arcade comic "One Man, and a Crate of Puppets" as an inhabitant of Vault 43.
