Well, hello there young traveler. The fates had told me that I would receive a visitor today. But I'm being rude! I am Madam Panada, and this is Madam Panada's House of Wares! For all things a traveler needs, I am here to provide! Bullets! Stimpaks! Armor! Weapons! Junk! If you need it, Madame Panada has already anticipated your need and procured it months ago!
”Madame Panada is one of the inhabitants of Point Lookout in the year 2277.
Background[]
Panada is one of only two merchants in Point Lookout. Madam Panada’s House of Wares offers a variety of badly repaired items, as Panada herself is only trading to make a living. Her real calling (so she believes) is divination.[1]
She is a friend of Tobar the Ferryman and he receives a cut for referring her, according to him.[2] Little is known about Madam Panada's past. Her heavy accent would suggest she is of eastern European ancestry. She also mentions that she learned many repair tricks from her father.[3]

Notable quotes[]

- "Oh, it is good to see you well, young traveler! And what brings you to Madam Panada's?"
Notes[]
- At first it appears Panada is about a head taller than the PC, but upon closer inspection behind the counter you can see her feet hover off the ground.
- She has the largest ammunition supply of any vendor in the game, with over 3000 caps worth (at 100 barter and with Master Trader perk) of ammunition available every reset, and carries large quantities of every munition type, except Mesmetron power cells and alien power cells.
- Her accent is unusual in that few people, if any, would've moved to America after the war and a family accent would've been lost in the 200 or more, years since they first moved. Though this may just be in reference to popular conceptions of fortune telling gypsies; her appearance on a carnival style boardwalk supports this.
- It is also possible that Madame Panada puts on a fake accent for customers. It is easy to identify breaks in her accent if you listen closely enough.
Appearances[]
Madame Panada appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout.
Behind the scenes[]
Madame Panada's personality and speech mannerisms are similar to those of a stereotypical gypsy fortuneteller.
Bugs[]
- During the tribals' attack she may also disappear into buildings.
- If Panada is found dead by a smuggler attack, you may not be able to loot her corpse, meaning you can't get her money or merchandise.
- protectron bodyguard may attack Panada, killing her. This way of dying, however, seems to allow the player to loot her body. In the event of previously mentioned attack, Panada's
- Panada's protectron bodyguard may randomly disappear from the game; he usually returns after saving and loading a save file.

Tobar: "Depends what you're looking for. If you need supplies, head to the shop over at the end of these docks. Convenient, and I get caps for referring you. If you need a place to stay, there's an old motel further into town. The beds there are still pretty soft, even if it's because they're full of lice. And if you're looking for some hunting, there's a fellow named Plik who runs a club out in the northeast. Strictly for high-rollers, though."

Panada: "Of course. I learned many tricks from my father."
