The Seneca is an entrance to the DCTA Metro on the northwest side of Seneca, Maryland, directly north of Arefu, and northwest of Big Town.

Background[]

Seneca was an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Maryland. Its northwest Metro station is mentioned by Evan King as a possible location of The Family. It contains however the entrance to the Seneca's northwest metro station. Although the station itself is almost completely collapsed, there is a cavern passage that leads to the Meresti service tunnel.

Cornucopia Fresh Groceries[]

In the east of Seneca lies a grocery store. It's infested with a couple of radroaches. Some Sugar Bombs, food and liquor can be found inside along with some other minor loot and a first aid box. The average-locked safe next to the counter contains some caps, pre-War money, a pack of cigarettes, and the occasional Stealth Boy. The safe can also be unlocked by hacking the nearby terminal.

Enclave camp[]

Main article: Enclave camp

After The Waters of Life, the Enclave will establish an outpost on the highway just west of Seneca, staffed by an Enclave officer and two soldiers, one of whom is equipped with Tesla armor and a missile launcher.

Due to a bug, the soldier with the missile launcher will be friendly until the player alerts his two comrades. If they are killed without causing the soldier to aggro, he will remain friendly.

Appearances[]

Seneca appears only in Fallout 3.
