Nisha is the leader of the Disciples living at Nuka-World in 2287.
Background[]
Brutal, savage, and unrelenting, Nisha leads the Disciples. Perhaps the most terrifying and bloodthirsty of the raiders at Nuka-World, they are firm believers that might makes right - and Nisha is the mightiest of them.
Nisha's parents were killed by a raider named Sledge when she was young, who raised her as his own, training her to be a killer. However, in a raid gone bad, Sledge left her behind, believing her to be dead with how much blood she was covered in. This proved to be a fatal mistake for Sledge; running away with his tail between his legs from the raid diminished any respect and loyalty Nisha had for him, prompting her to track him down and kill him.[1]
From there, she set herself as the leader of the gang Sledge used to lead, killing anyone who did not want to follow her. It was shortly after that this gang became properly known as the Disciples, following the natural way of the world: kill or be killed; the farmers of the wasteland, much like Nisha's parents scratch in the dirt to form civilization only to be crushed by the dominant forces of the wastes.[2]
She quickly garnered a reputation for herself, and received a message from another raider, Porter Gage, inviting her and her gang to make a deal with a raider boss named Colter. Along with two other raider gangs, Colter was planning on taking Nuka-World, a regional trading hub, for themselves. Nisha agreed to the proposition, but she and her gang were none too happy about the "no kill" clause extending to the other raider gangs. Still, she was able to easily circumvent this with an addendum: "don't get caught."[3]
The gangs successfully took Nuka-Town USA in 2286, but over a year went by with Colter doing nothing to expand further into the park. The three gangs agreed to something for once: a plan by Gage to dispose of Colter.[4] The plan was successful with the Sole Survivor became the new Overboss of Nuka-World, but Nisha was still reserved about the situation. For all she knew, the new overboss could have been "another piece of shit dud."[5]
