The National Park visitor's center is a location and possible settlement on Mount Desert Island.

Background[]

The visitor's center for Acadia National Park before the Great War, the lodge has been fortified in recent years and used by Uncle Ken, the Hold Out, whose family has lived here for seven generations.

Settlement information[]

The National Park visitors center is fairly well built up and easily defensible. After defeating the wave of trappers as part of The Hold Out, the settlement is unlocked.

The area is rather large, expanding from the walled up areas well into the parking lot, which has lots of cars to scrap for steel, and the area surrounding it has lots of trees for wood. The land outside the house is arable and capable of supporting crops and wells for water.

Layout[]

The bus stop in the northeast transitions through the gate into the main courtyard. Against the lodge is the settlement workshop, a cooking station, and a small plot of corn plants. Inside the lodge, there is a gift shop in the southwest, and some offices and bathrooms to the northeast, which contains a weapons workbench. Although it has been mostly wrecked by time, the upper floors contain more offices, a shabby wooden deck, and a staircase up to a lookout point.

Notable loot[]

Appearances[]

The National Park visitor's center appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.
