Forgotten by time, the police station of Natick is slowly sinking into Lake Cochituate. The skeletal remains of policemen and criminals who were present at the station when the bombs fell still litter the halls, much like traces of old cases litter the memories of the few functional terminals still present on site.[1]

The entrance of the police station has the front desk and a a book return terminal off in the corner. The north end of the station, which contained the jail cells and evidence locker, has collapsed into the lake. There is a staircase adjacent to the entrance that leads up to the second story offices (most of which are also collapsing into the lake).

When the ICBMs struck the area, those inside died where they were. The receptionist officer at his desk (his patrolman sunglasses under his head on the floor), the handcuffed criminal trying to escape with the officer on top of him with a second officer with a police baton and patrolman sunglasses next to them right before where the door was. Prisoners in their cells and an officer in the hall.

Notable loot

The Natick Police Department appears only in Fallout 4.

  1. Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide Collector's Edition p.355: "[5.04] NATICK POLICE DEPARTMENT
Caution! This structure is slowly toppling into Lake Cochituate; beware of uneven flooring. The fourth of Eddie Winter’s Holotapes is in an evidence locker near some first aid kits. Should you have any overdue books, return them to the book return terminal here for tokens, which you can exchange for a variety of (mainly plastic) toys."
