Murkwater construction site is a location and possible settlement in the Commonwealth.
Background[]
Despite the abundance of marshland south of Hyde Park, construction had begun on the outskirts of this area before the Great War. With the construction at a standstill, the marsh has become the habitat of a mirelurk queen. If made safe, this could be an excellent settlement location.[1]
Settlement information[]
The settlement a rather small fixer-upper, comprised of a dry portion and a waterlogged portion. There is plenty of wood available, but a distinct lack of steel, meaning a supply line will likely need to be established to construct buildings around the marsh.
Without any hindering pavement, crops can be planted all over the area, and the marsh provides open water for large scale water purification. However, unlike many other settlements, this construction site initially has no beds. Additionally, as if the mirelurk queen was not enough, raids are frequent on this locale, encouraging one to build defenses up around the settlement.
Layout[]
The construction site is lacking in buildings: one has been destroyed with the ages, and the framework of another (containing the workshop) lies west of that house. The rest of the area is thick with trees, partially flooded, or both.
