My, my. This place is filthy!

— Mr. Janitor

Mr. Janitor is a named Mister Handy found in the Sunset Sarsaparilla headquarters in 2281.

Background[]

Mr. Janitor is a deactivated Mister Handy robot that can be reactivated via a terminal and programmed to clean up the offices and shipping room area. He was loved by most of the staff for doing a better job than the older models of this type, two of which can be found destroyed on the second floor.

Other interactions[]

When activated by the terminal in the janitor's closet (50 Science required), he will roam around the bottom floor commenting on how dirty everything has gotten over "the past few days," and that "this room is even dirtier than the last one!". Mr. Janitor also comments on the Courier if approached or if he/she kills another of the robots in Mr. Janitor's presence, asking "what are you savages doing here?". Eventually, Mr. Janitor will end his cleaning patrol, dump a random amount of bottle caps into a garbage can, and shut down again back in his janitor's closet.

Notes[]

  • Mr. Janitor's primary objective is to pick up all of the bottle caps in the Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters first floor. When he is done with his job, it will deposit all bottle caps into a garbage can. The amount of bottle caps usually varies between 300 and 500. That amount can vary greatly if the player has the Fortune Finder perk.
  • He may also dump full Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles into the garbage can as well.

Appearances[]

Mr. Janitor appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
