Guided explosives used by the missile launcher. When firing a missile in V.A.T.S., all missile types will curve and lock on to the heads of any robot (except Mister Gutsy, where it instead tracks the armor plated core). The standard missile deals 200 damage in a 15.63 yard radius.
HE missiles deal an extra 35% damage on direct impacts, though the damage of the explosion itself is unchanged. They also have a 50% larger blast radius, totalling 23.44 yards.
Missile, high velocity[]
This missile travels at 3.23 times faster than the regular missile, thus meaning it will reach the target quicker, which is helpful in mid range combat with the missile launcher.
Missile, hive (GRA)[]
A sub-type added with the new add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal that shoots a "hive" of 9 smaller missiles. Each individual missile has a blast radius of 7.82 yards.

Notes[]
Missiles, like all forms of ammunition, have no weight. When playing on Hardcore mode however, they become extremely cumbersome, making the missile launcher a somewhat impractical weapon. As of the 1.3.0.452 patch all missiles now weigh half as much as they previously did, at 1.5 lbs, and now can be affected by the pack rat perk to even further reduce their weight.
Missiles can be converted into rockets in any workbench. The number of rockets received will be double the amount of missiles converted.
