FOBoS2LogoThe following is based on Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2 and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

Miles Reese was going to be the main antagonist of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2, the canceled sequel to Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. His goal was to create a New Eden without humans using a mutated G.E.C.K. prototype.

Background[]

Harboring a particular hatred for the Brotherhood of Steel, he joined a raider group called the Cyphers, the antithesis of the the Brotherhood: instead of worshiping and hoarding technology, the Cyphers hate it. However, even amongst them, he was considered too reactionary for his wish to rage war on the Brotherhood.[1]

During research, he learned about Garden of Eden Creation Kits and stole the prototype from the Nursery. As Miles headed down to the Gulf of Mexico, the device starts functioning, leaving a trail of strange plant life all over the countryside. Arriving at the Gulf, he spent the next five years improving the function and outreach of the G.E.C.K. However, the increased potency of the device had strange effects on the FEV-infected environment, transforming the landscape and eventually even submerging his own base in the Gulf. Protecting it with an organic shell with airholes reaching to the surface, Reese continued his work towards the goal of a new world without humans – an Eden.[1]

Out of his hatred for the Brotherhood, he decided to separate them from their technology to see how they would fare without it. To this end he uses the Jackals, ordering them to steal it. Unknown to their leader, Banshee, Miles infected them with a bio-organism created by the G.E.C.K. which acts as a miniature bio-bomb of sorts. With this agent at his disposal, Reese would be able to detonate his minions and the stolen Brotherhood technology with them when he is ready to activate his New Eden device, starting the world over.[1]

Interactions with the player character[]

At the end of the game, the player was supposed to fight him as a boss. Miles Reese would mutate and merge with a plant-filled wall, becoming the final boss.[2]

Appearances[]

Miles Reese was to appear in the canceled Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2.
