Mike was security guard for the US Robotics Disposal, with a penchant for bad puns and an observant eye, noticing something corporations didn't: That relying on robot production to make robots is generating a lotof errors, such as eyeless robots.[1] When RobCo started dumping sentry bots, perfectly serviceable ones, he knew something has gone really wrong with the corporations. He entertained the idea of taking one home to turn it into a lawn mover,[2] but when the g-men dropped off the prototype sentry bot, he decided to advise his friend - and himself - against it. they had a job that was easy enough without complicating it for themselves.[3]
