The Mesquite Mountains camp site is a location in Fallout: New Vegas, is located north of the Mojave Outpost and south of the Mesquite Mountains Crater.
Background[]
This ancient campground was once fully furnished to accommodate several vacationers, with grills, benches, a campsite, and two durable tents set up. Now it serves wastelanders, whenever the local radscorpions don't drive them off.
Layout[]
The campsite itself is located on a small mesa overlooking Ivanpah valley, with two tents with two mattresses each. Each of the tent contains one collectible item, a copy of the Wasteland Survival Guide and a star bottle cap. There's a large camp site in front of the tents, some benches with grills, and if the player wanders high above the camp, three graves to dig up with a shovel.
Oh, and there are lots and lots of giant radscorpions and regular ones around the camp.
Private Edwards will move here if he is not sent to Ranger station Echo during We Will All Go Together, and usually die due to the amount of radscorpions in the camp.
Notable loot[]
- Wasteland Survival Guide: In the southern tent, on the ground by the rear wall. Note that due to the way it's placed, the book might fall through the ground if it's moved in any way. Picking it up directly works.
- Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap: Northern tent, on top of the metal box.
Appearances[]
