| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Meresti trainyard once part of the Washington, D.C. Metro system has since fallen into disuse. This rail yard is due east of Arefu and due west of Agatha's house.
Layout[]
This derelict rail yard is occupied by abandoned passenger and boxcars. The tracks orientate north-south and enter the Metro system through two parallel tunnels on the southern end of the yard. In between the tunnels is a random encounter location.
Interior[]
Main article: Meresti service tunnel
The tunnels leading to and from the rail yard are booby trapped by the Family. As this service tunnel is only way to reach Meresti station.
Notable loot[]
- A copy of Tumblers Today in the service tunnel is found in an alcove where Robert is located.
Notes[]
- A group of buzzards continually circle above the entry tunnels, which is quite useful for spotting the trainyard from a distance.
- This is a 'Type A' random encounter location. Fast-traveling to Meresti could trigger the encounter.
Appearances[]
Meresti trainyard appears only in Fallout 3.
