The Mass Fusion disposal site is a location in the Commonwealth.

Background[]

Once the property of Mass Fusion, this disposal site on the southeast bank of Lake Cochituate was specifically for coolants and other fluids. However so much of these poisons were buried at this site that the pressure has caused them to shoot up and out, into the irradiated pools at the surface and leaked into the lake.[1] The dump site is now a super mutant camp.

Layout[]

The camp consists of a number of wooden bridges surrounding the two radioactive ponds (with radiation peaking at 17 rads per second), which are filled with barrels and sporadic geysers of severely radioactive water (which peak at 60 rads per second). The western pond has a shack on the south side and small tree fort is in the northwest; the eastern pond has nothing of note. There is a trailer and megaloader in between the two ponds.

Notable loot[]

  • A mini nuke is behind/inside the large tire next to the megaloader (although, it may become completely inaccessible).

Appearances[]

The Mass Fusion disposal site appears only in Fallout 4.

This was the property of Mass Fusion and used as a disposal site for coolants and other liquids. As much of the poisons were buried at this site, pressure has built up and the irradiated pools around the shores of the lake have bubbling gasses. Be wise: Wear radioactive protective gear at all times. Be perceptive: Locate the steamer trunk in the treehouse to the northeast. Be extra perceptive: There’s a Mini Nuke inside the large tire by the yellow digging machine."
