The Marlborough house is an unmarked location in the Esplanade neighborhood of Boston in Fallout 4.
Background[]
This mansion was one among many in the formerly exclusive neighborhood of Esplanade. Now although a shell of its former self, its former grandeur is still plainly evident. In October, 2287 this dwelling was utilized by the Gunners as a forward operation base for their retrieval mission into HalluciGen, Inc.[1] The hallway upstairs was turned into a sleeping area while the dining room and foyer were fortified against attack. As it turned out, the worst danger came from themselves: A member of the raid who managed to retreat from HalluciGen died of blood loss while trying to patch himself on the sleeping bag in the kitchen.
Layout[]
The main entryway leads into a grand, marbled home. Upon entry the door leads directly to the den/foyer. To the east is the former dining room, now turned into a Gunner fortification. To the west is the stairway to the second floor, at the top of the stairs is a hallway turned sleeping quarters. Past this a bookcase blocks the door to the rest of the building.
Notable loot[]
- Esplanade mission brief, on the table.
Appearances[]
Marlborough house appears only in Fallout 4.
