Marigold station is a part of the DCTA Metro system, last stop on the westbound Blue Line in the greater Washington, D.C. area, and is shown as being active on the DCTA Status Monitors. Located on the southern tip of Grayditch, this station is the most direct route from the Capital Wasteland to Falls Church. It is home to Dr. Weston Lesko's entomology laboratory and recently infested with fire ants.

Layout[]

Upon entry, there is the skeleton of a man named Grady on the large platform with the escalators leading up to it. The holotape (A) contains information about the whereabouts of a safe (C) containing a package that must be delivered and the key to open this safe. The westbound metro tunnel is blocked off, meaning the only clear way is east toward Falls Church. Ahead is a split in the tracks; continuing straight heads to Falls Church while the tight and branching southeast path leads to a maintenance area with the corpse of William Brandice (D).

Beyond the maintenance area is Dr. Lesko's laboratory (E) where he is researching his fire-breathing strain of mutant ant. Traveling further south, there is a hole in the tracks that leads to the fire ant hatcheries.
