With the Sole Survivor now having gotten familiar with the Institute's division heads, as well as Father himself, they will be requested to attend a meeting between members of the Directorate.
Walkthrough[]
Upon meeting Father again after meeting the division heads, he will request for his parent to attend the next Directorate meeting.
Arriving at the meeting room, Father will make it public knowledge that he is dying from cancer, and that he will be appointing the Sole Survivor as his successor upon death.
Speaking with Father afterwards, he will state that it will take time for the scientists to accept that they will become the new director, but will give assurances that they will be the future of the Institute, and his legacy.
