It's not going well. I've been injecting the FEV directly into the pineal gland, but I'm not getting the results I'd hoped for.

The mad scientists can be found in the Los Angeles Vault in Fallout.

Background[]

The scientists work for the Master as part of his psionic warfare research program. They experiment with injecting FEV into different parts of the brain to stimulate the latent psionic potential (including the pineal gland, amygdala, and medula). The program has had limited success, producing four psykers. Unfortunately, the quartet is clinically insane and is kept nullifed and isolated for further study. Failed subjects (and there were many) ended up absorbed by the Master.
