Lone Star is a major town in Texas that used to be known as Abilene before the Great War. It is the third major settlement encountered in the game. There are 4 main factions residing in Lonestar, The ghoul trading company, Caesar Raiders, The lawmen, and the Hand Gang, and everyone wants everyone else dead. The ghoul trading company is having problems with the raiders, and the lawmen are fed up with the hand gang's reckless activity.
Vault 39[]
Lone Star is also home to Vault 39. Vault 39 is currently closed to the PC, but a strange man with seeds has caught your attention. The PC eventually heads east towards Fort Worth.
