The living quarters is a sector on board Mothership Zeta.

Layout[]

The living quarters is composed of three main rooms linked by hallways. The first room is a small atrium with side balconies blocked by force fields, so in order to go further the player must jump down from the balcony to the floor below. Alternatively, the player can destroy one or more of the force field generators with a well-placed grenade, a shot from an explosive weapon, or shots from a conventional weapon. This will be necessary if the player wishes to return this way.

In the atrium, the player must fight with one abomination and possibly several drones. There are very few points of interest; most of the rooms are empty except for stasis chambers (probably used by aliens as a bed). Going further, the player will enter a hallway crossing. To the left (east) is a small room with two aliens. The way is blocked by a force field generator (which the player can destroy) leading to a disabled teleporter and Toshiro Kago, who's apparently been busy slaughtering aliens.

To the right (west) is a hallway to the next room, which appears to be a diner with more aliens and alien turrets that will attack the player. In the diner, alien food or loot from containers in the right, smaller room can be found. Returning to the hallway, the player will enter the last room, with several abominations. From there the player can head straight to the ship's bridge, and the end of the final quest.

Notable loot[]

Notes[]

  • If Toshiro Kago wasn't killed prior to reaching this location, he can be found beyond a shield barricade at the north end of the east passageway, surrounded by several dead aliens.
  • This is one of many areas of the ship that will not be accessible after the player has completed This Galaxy Ain't Big Enough....

Appearances[]

The living quarters only appears in the Fallout 3 add-on Mothership Zeta.
