A Legion ear is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
Every legion soldier you kill has a probability of having this on his corpse after starting the associated quest An Ear to the Ground. Private Sexton at Camp Forlorn Hope is organizing a competition to collect them, and will reward you for bringing them to him. For obvious reasons, they will only be in the victim's inventory upon death, unlike the NCR's dogtags.
Bugs
- The dead Recruit Legionary inside of the Nipton house with the caged Barkscorpions and a dead Recruit Legionary inside the Bloodborne Cave has an ear on his corpse whether or not you have taken the quest for them yet.
