Layton Towers is a location in the Commonwealth.
Background[]
Once a large apartment complex in the heart of Boston, the residents of the complex have been replaced by a gang of murderous raiders.
Layout[]
The towers themselves are gated in behind wooden fortifications, with entrances on the north, west and south sides. There is an alternative entrance on the eastern side of the apartments in the form of a lift. The western building is entered from the ground, adjacent to the basketball court. This entrance contains a laundry room, a staircase and an elevator that leads to the fifth story; further north is the front desk.
The staircase leads up to the third story, in which there is a collapsed floor allowing access to the fourth story. After navigating through several residences, one returns to the staircase, which leads up to the fifth story as well as access to the roof. This rooftop has nothing of note except for a fire escape on the side leading back down to the ground.
A hallway on the fifth story leads southeast; past a chemistry station, there is a hallway terminating at a staircase up to the sixth story, which has more boarded up residences and a door leading out to the roof. This roof is a collapsed residence, beyond which is a small camp containing a steamer trunk, cooking station, and weapons workbench as well as a lift back down to the ground.
Notable loot[]
- There is a fusion core in a generator through the laundry room by the western building's entrance.
- A Nuka-Cola Quantum and Nuka Cherry are found in the Nuka-Cola machine in the northeast corner on the first floor of the western building.
Appearances[]
Layton Towers appears only in Fallout 4.
