The laser array gun is a weapon that was to appear in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. It also appears in the Van Buren tech demo game files.

Apparently, a similar weapon was planned for Fallout: New Vegas: there exists an empty leveled list titled CondNVLaserArrayLoot at ID number 00096BF8. No such weapon made it to the final build.
