Biography and appearance
Affiliation Taggerdy's Thunder
Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel

Before the Bomb, generals told their troops that they served a higher purpose, that they fought with honor. It was patriotic bullshit.

It led our best and most deserving into the slaughterhouse.

Never again. In this new world, a CO has a duty to treat each and every soldier's life under his command as sacred.

And if a soldier has to pay that final price, then there must be an accounting. In front of his brothers, his sisters, and his Elders.

Squire De Silva was a good soldier. A staunch ally who never flinched in the face of danger. She was an unwavering friend.

Her sacrifice will be remembered. This is our solemn duty to her.

Maxson's Eulogy for De Silva

L. de Silva was a member of Taggerdy's Thunder, an elite United States Army Ranger unit. Bearing the rank of Private, she was one of the unit's riflemen. After the Great War, she remained with Taggerdy and joined the new Appalachian branch of the Brotherhood. As an Appalachian native, she was a crucial asset to Taggerdy's survival, first leading her unit to Camp Venture, which became their first stronghold.[1] Unlike some, she acclimated quickly to the Brotherhood's operations (speculated as her just loving the new patch).[2]

De Silva was part of the reclamation efforts at Allegheny Asylum, clearing the building of ghouls and making it ready for Grant McNamara's work on it. She took the job in stride, though Grant's rejection of everything they achieved was a little bit grating to her.[3]

Unfortunately, de Silva's ruck ended during the battle of Huntersville in 2086. The Squire fell in combat with the super mutants, becoming one of many casualties incurred by Appalachian horrors.[4]

L. de Silva is mentioned in Fallout 76.
