Background[]
A young man in the service of the Shady Sands Police, Karl is eager to prove that he earned his position based on merit, rather than favor. He has a strong egalitarian streak, believing firmly that law applies equally to all regardless of their position. That doesn't make him blind, however: He knows a great deal about his friends from the police station and cooperates with Elise of the NCR Rangers.
