"Jose" (—February 11th, 2096) was a member of a twenty eight person group of Mexican survivors that took refuge in Zion Canyon in 2095.
Background[]
Randall Clark, observing the refugees, suspected him to be the father of "Maria"'s unborn child. On October 10th, he broke his leg (compound fracture) chasing a Bighorner. Being to far from their camp for them to hear his cries for help, Clark, not being able to not help, approached the camp. At 300 yards, he made his best Jose screaming impersonation, stringing them along until they could hear the real Jose. By the 11th the fracture was infected, they prayed to God for a miracle. On the 12th, Clark left a bottle of antibiotics on a rock near their camp resenting how they thanked God for the antibiotics, but seeing fit to burn the world. By the 15th his infection was gone and his leg was healing well, although he would have had to walk with a limp the rest of his life.[1] On February 11th, 2096, he was killed along with most of the survivors by the Vault 22 dwellers.[2]
Appearances[]
"Jose" is mentioned only in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.
