Background

"Joe Porter" was born in 2249. He was a loader-for-hire at a caravan. However, when he first arrived at Canterbury Commons, the idea of having a permanent base of operations and a steady community was very appealing to him. He settled down here with his dog, Ol' Mule, around 2271 and has been working as an unloader, a basic cook, and a basic repairman since then. Since the death of his dog, he's been minding the town diner, the center of chatter in this settlement.

He owns the Dot's Diner in town, and from the comments of Roe; "I'm not sure who Dot was, but I'm sure Joe's cooking would make her proud", he seems to be a good cook.
