Job is a broken-down Mr. Handy unit in Denver in 2253.
Background[]
While in Denver, the player can find a broken down Mr. Handy unit called Job that used to be in charge of records for the Denver City Police Department. He needs a few parts, but if fixed and rebooted he will serve the player. He is not equipped with any weapons and has some flaws that make him less than ideal in combat, but he's good at spotting electronic traps.
Interactions overview[]
Interactions with the player character[]
Job suffers from a number of problems, including the lack of a battery. He is slow and non-combat oriented (all enemies get +10 to hit him), and has no voice module. On the other hand, his abilities include clean, pest control, interact, retrieve, file, restrain, and detect electronic traps that make him useful in Denver. Job will not leave Denver unless reprogrammed.
Appearances[]
Job was to appear in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios.
