Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal is a radioactive waste disposal site northwest of Megaton and Vault 101 formerly operated by the Jalbert Brothers company. Its closest neighbors are Fort Bannister to the south, Everglow National Campground and Rockbreaker's Last Gas to the northwest, VAPL-58 power station to the east and just north of the entrance is the wasteland gypsy village.

Layout[]

Exterior[]

The waste disposal facility is an open-air dump filled with many barrels of radioactive waste. The player will almost always find a lone deathclaw within the perimeter of the fence and near the offices making it difficult to reach the loot within the offices.

Interior[]

There are two offices connected via an underground tunnel occupied by radroaches. Inside the north office, there is also a workbench along with all the ingredients for a Nuka-grenade.

Notable loot[]

  • 2 Nuka-Cola Quantums, on a desk in the northern room and northwest of offices on other side of rock formation, outside of Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal. Near rear of overturned truck with barrels.
  • D.C. Journal of Internal Medicine, on a shelf in the southern room.

Notes[]

  • There's a trigger for a random encounter just outside the office door on the right.
  • This is a good place to acquire the Firelance, as the open area makes it very hard for the weapon or alien power cells to clip or get lost in the foliage.

Appearances[]

Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal appears in Fallout 3.
