Jackie was a safety protocol manager of the ICBM complex of the Divide.
Background[]
Jackie was a safety protocol manager of the ICBM complex of the Divide. Her personal terminal records her frustration on the shoddy construction of her domicile. Complaining about the "slumlords" not being sympathetic to her manning her post on two hours sleep. Expressing in her sleep deprived frustration that is was miracle that the complex was running so well and safety.[1]
When a 5.0 earthquake hit the Divide she again went to her computer; writing that the Commander, Devlin, is not concerned, calling it "minor and nothing to worry about." She was aghast, asking herself weather anyone bothered to check the fault lines before constructing the massive underground missile complex. Writing the whole thing off as a fastidious waste of tax dollars and expressing a desire to move to Canada.[2]
Her last entry in her journal was a final critique of the fault line and her Commander's stupidly dismissive words. Making a fastidious comment that "if the last earthquake wasn't a 5.0 at least, then she was Dean Domino." At the end of her entry she wrote how she was going to request a transfer before the place fell apart. However the end of this message was garbled and indicated either was present when the bombs fell, other major earthquakes hit, or the meteorological disaster that claimed the Divide happened.[3]
Appearances[]
Jackie is mentioned only in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road.
