She made a fool out of me, you know. Nobody makes a fool out of Jack.
”Jack is the assistant deputy of the NCR law in Fallout 2.
Background[]
Anyone who looks at Jack sees that this guy's wound tighter than a watch spring. His jaw is permanently clenched, the veins stand out on his forehead, and there's not a spot of joy or happiness anywhere on him. The reason is simple: Jack feels cheated. Cheated by life, cheated by humans, cheated by his former wife.
He was once a good lawman, good enough to become the assistant deputy of Shady Sands police. However, a recent divorce, where his wife, Mira, took the lion's share of their assets, broke him. Jack sunk deeper and deeper into depression and self loathing, until he strapped himself with plastic explosives and threatened to blow up the city power plant.
