The owner and proprietor of The Memory Den, Irma doesn't pull any punches when it comes to playing the part of a brothel owner. She deliberately renovated the Memory Den with red fabrics and expensive furniture to evoke memories of the burlesque that once graced the stage of Scollay Square Theater. However, rather than sell pleasures of the flesh, she and her partner, Doctor Amari, provide pleasures of the mind. Clients may relive memories within the walls of the Den, using memory loungers under the careful guidance of Doctor Amari. When asked on where she obtained the Loungers, Irma just smiles and says that she has to have her secrets. Incidentally, she and Amari seem to be very close, though the doctor finds Irma's act rather distasteful.
In the past, Irma has repeatedly worked with Nick Valentine and will usually refer people suffering of seemingly impossible problems to him. For his part, Nick never skips an opportunity to flirt with her. After all, she's a good soul, helping people like Kent Connoly stay sane. However, since reliving memories can be a traumatic experience, Irma keeps her client list small and usually rejects walk-ins... Unless they can front the cash or convince her that they're worth the potential trouble.
