A rare delicacy, the imitation strange meat pie heals 1 hit point per second for 5 seconds and adds 3 rads. It also lowers Starvation by 15.

Imitation strange meat pie can be crafted by the player a single time at the oven nearest the kitchen pantry during the quest Beyond the Beef with an [Intelligence 6] check and Philippe's recipes, which can be either pickpocked from Philippe or purchased for 100 caps by posing as a publishing agent. Alternately, a [Survival 75] check can bypass the need for the recipe. Despite learning or devising the recipe, this item can not be created beyond the Beyond the Beef quest line.
If the player follows the quest line to serve imitation meat at the banquet, many more pies will be found in the members only section of the Ultra-Luxe once the Head Waiter has delivered the original.
The item re-uses the in-game model and Pip-Boy icon of mirelurk cakes.
Bugs[]
PCPlayStation 3Xbox 360 Due to the physical boundaries of the trays they are placed on, the imitation strange meat pies served in the Ultra-Luxe members only section may not be able to be picked up. Pushing them with other physical objects can free them to be picked up.
Taking the imitation strange meat pie created in the kitchen from the top of the oven can cause a bug for the related quest, whereby it prevents the head waiter from leaving the kitchen.
