Hub entrance is a location in the Hub in Fallout.
Background[]
The main entrance to the city lies just outside the busy commercial center of the Hub, once Barstow, California. Free space between the buildings and the metal wall surrounding California's beating economic heart is filled to the brim with fields of hardy mutant maize and cabbage and enclosures full of brahmin ready for trade, use, and slaughter. The highway out of the city is perpetually busy, filled with caravans, traders, visitors, and transients visiting the largest city in New California.
Layout[]
The player arrives just outside the main gates, among caravan trucks getting ready for departure. The caravan drivers Luke and Mat offer a bit of information about the Hub and caravans, but in order to get more substantial pointers, the player needs to head down the main road and talk to Deputy Tony Fry of the Hub Police, who stands watch over the busy district in daytime.
The other notable character is Dan the Brahmin Man, who lives in the building just inside the city gates together with his wife. He is a brahmin potentate who sells bovines to all the caravan houses of the Hub. His employees are numerous and include the little Billy.
Beyond them there's little in the way of interest in the district. The exit to the Merchant Market lies straight down the road, in the south-eastern corner.
