The High Road is a location in the Divide in 2281.

Layout[]

The high road entrance is composed almost entirely of a highway that once cut through the center of Hopeville. It is now a ruin, complete with fallen skyscrapers and abandoned vehicles. The highway is, for the most part, contiguous, with just a few deadly gaps.

The entrance leads to a small marked men encampment, comprised of Beast and one other marked man. The camp is built around a derelict military transport vehicle that's carrying a commissary terminal and several ammunition boxes and military shipping crates. The High Road continues linearly without anything of note until a warhead in the middle of the road underneath a structure (known as The Crow's Nest). There are several marked men near the warhead, so detonating it will finish the fight before it even started.

Past The Crow's Nest, the road takes a turn to the right. It is during this stretch deathclaws begin to show up on the road. The first of these is lurking around a trailer in the middle of the road. In the back of this bloody trailer is a rather large stash of ammunition. Further along the road is the ruined highway interchange, where two deathclaws roam around a warhead. After this warhead, there are two trailers in the road; both of which have stashes. The left one has a duffle bag and the right one holds some crates as well as a bed hidden behind a large wooden box.

Not far from these trailers is an overturned transport truck that has been knocked on its side, dumping several radioactive barrels. Among the barrels are two lead-lined metal boxes. The High Road ends with a three-way fork. Going left continues down the road to the Ashton missile silo, going right goes down into the Junction 7 rest stop, and keeping straight leads to a hidden camp nestled into the cave above
