The Hall of Congress is the seat of the NCR Senate, giving the name to the district in Shady Sands. It is the heart of the New California Republic.

As the most important Command Center in the New California Republic and a symbol of the democratic style government that NCR represents, the Hall of Congress is a high priority strategic target for the enemies of the republic.
During the war between the Brotherhood of Steel and the New California Republic, two days after a scientist named Agnes sent an expedition to explore the Boulder Dome, the NCR Congress building was destroyed, presumably by Brotherhood infiltrators (though, in actuality, by Victor Presper).
The destruction of the congressional building simultaneously deal a terrible blow to NCR morale and slowed the republic's administration considerably. It took an entire year for Agnes' expedition to reach Hoover Dam.

The Hall is the biggest and most important building in the town. Both President Tandi's office and the congress assembly hall are located here.
A statue of the Vault Dweller sits in the heart of the district, depicting him proudly stepping towards a brighter future.
The presidential mansion is also located here, even more heavily guarded compared to congress building. A Presidential A+ access pass to be permitted entry.
