The Gulf Commonwealth was one of the thirteen commonwealths of the pre-War United States of America. Created in the mid-20th century, it was comprised of the former states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, and borders the Southeast, East Central and Texas Commonwealth.
Mississippi[]
In September 2077 the newly perfected M42 "Fat Man" Launcher is shipped out out of Fort Strong to, quote; "the supply yard in Mississippi."[1]

As the Brotherhood expanded, they came across the gem of Florida. Keen to set up shop, they were baffled by the amount of alligator activity, caused by a mutated G.E.C.K. created by the corrupt Vault-Tec Industries.

The Gulf Commonwealth does not appear in any released Fallout games. It was going to appear in the canceled Fallout Tactics 2.
Florida was also the setting of Fountain of Dreams, a follow-up to Wasteland.
