You have more innate abilities than most, so you have not spent as much time honing your skills.

— In-game description

Gifted is a trait in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Van Buren, J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game and Lionheart .

Effects[]

Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics[]

All seven primary statistics have a +1 modifier, but all skills are reduced by 10%. You also receive 5 less skill points per level. The 7 stat points received from this trait can be re-distributed, like with Small Frame and Bruiser.

Van Buren[]

You get 5 more points to spend on your stats, but all skills are reduced by 10% in addition to receiving 5 less skill points per level.

J.E. Sawyer's Fallout RPG[]

You gain +7 points to spend on primary attributes, but you earn perks only once every four levels.

Lionheart[]

Because you have more innate abilities than most, you have not spent as much time honing your skills. Your statistics are better than the average person’s, but your skills are lacking. All stats have a +1 modifier. All non-spell skills are lowered 10 points. You receive 4 fewer skill points per level.[1]

Notes[]

  • The trait provides an extreme starting advantage. The extra seven attribute points far outweigh the relatively minor skill penalties.
