Get 3-step plasma transformer for Skeeter is a side quest in Fallout 2.

Walkthrough[]
This Gecko quest will activate after you bring Skeeter a Tool Kit, but only if you are carrying at least one weapon that he can upgrade. He can upgrade weapons once for each time he has been brought a 3-step plasma transformer while an upgrade is not currently available. The quest need not be active for him to give you an upgrade.
There are three ways of obtaining 3-step plasma transformers, and you can get an upgrade for each one you bring to him.
- Give Jeremy, in the reactor, the Part Requisition Form from Harold's house.
- Give Jeremy the Part Requisition Form that Festus carries. If you ask Festus for it, you can make up any of four excuses and get it if you pass a Speech check or if he likes you; or steal it, or barter for it.
- Jeremy has the final 3-step plasma transformer in his inventory; it can't be bartered for, only stolen.
Asking Jeremy for a "moss covered three handled credenza" redirects the conversation back to his list of things you want again, creating a potential gap in any potential collection of three handled credenzas.
Return to Skeeter and he'll give you 350 xp and a free weapon upgrade.
