The geomapper module is a special item that can be received from Reilly after completing the Reilly's Rangers quest and taking the unmarked quest Geomapping with Reilly.
Characteristics[]
Donovan spent a year developing this piece of equipment.[1] The device automatically downloads data about any world map markers from a Pip-Boy and uploads it to a database that Reilly's Rangers mange.[2][3]
This data can be downloaded by Reilly at the Ranger compound who in turn will pay 30 caps per location found. It will also count the locations you have already discovered before receiving it, and you don't have to carry it around - just get it out of your house locker when ready to visit Reilly again, and she'll pay for any new locations.
Notes[]
- This item can be replaced by Reilly twice; after that, you cannot obtain any new ones.
- If dropped, it looks exactly like a Stealth Boy.
- If you drop your module and ask for a new one, you can obtain two, however, there is no purpose for a second one.
